Restorative yoga encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Classes are very relaxing and slow paced. Props, such as bolsters, blocks, straps and blankets are used to fully support the body in restorative poses. Each pose is held for approximately 3-5 minutes.
These poses, along with deep breathing techniques, allow the body to rest and release tension, promoting a deep relaxation to restore and balance the body and mind.
Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation, also known as yogic sleep, which draws your attention inwards, transitioning you between states of wakefulness and sleep.
This two hour workshop will focus on self care whilst nurturing the body and mind. It will encourage your body to surrender and your mind to be still.
Take time to pause and be still.
Appropriate for everyone – all abilities and ages.
The yoga studio is fully equipped with mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets.
