Yoga is a holistic practice that combines physical postures, breath control, and meditation to enhance overall well-being. Originating from ancient India, it aims to unify the mind, body, and spirit.
Personal training in a gym involves working one-on-one with a certified fitness trainer who tailors exercise programs to individual goals and needs. It combines personalised workouts with guidance on technique, motivation, and accountability.
Holistic healing based on yoga and gong baths integrates physical, mental, and spiritual well-being through complementary practices. Yoga combines physical postures, breathwork, and meditation to harmonize the body and mind. Gong baths involve immersive sound therapy using gongs to promote relaxation and healing.
Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art known for its slow, deliberate movements and focus on balance, coordination, and mindfulness. Often described as "meditation in motion," it integrates physical exercise with mental relaxation to promote overall health.
We are pleased to announce our first male yoga teacher, who will be providing a yoga class purely for men. We hope to expand on our Club in the near future by providing a variety of physical and mind wellbeing sessions.
A Men Only Wellbeing and Yoga Club is designed to create a comfortable and supportive environment where men can focus on their physical and mental health needs. This specialised Club recognises that some men may find it challenging to attend mixed-gender or female-oriented wellness events.
Gong baths are a form of sound therapy where participants lie down and immerse themselves in the vibrations and tones of gongs played by a practitioner. The experience is designed to be deeply relaxing and meditative, as the resonant sounds promote a state of deep relaxation and mental clarity.
Our aim at Waterside Wellbeing is to make fitness and health accessible to all! That includes young mums with babies. We will always make sure the environment is warm and safe and if the gym space isn’t suitable, we bring the equipment indoors.
So if you want to train but cant get a sitter, we are happy to accomodate!
Sarah and I want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the Chakra Experience. Your presence made the day so special, and we’re truly grateful for each and every one of you.
The reviews from the day have been remarkable, and we’re so pleased to hear how much you enjoyed yourself. It means the world to us to create these spaces of connection, learning, and healing.
We’re already looking forward to hosting the next one, which will take place on Sunday, 19th January. Stay tuned for more details—we can’t wait to share another amazing day with you all!
Thank you for your support, your energy, and for being part of this beautiful journey with us.

Hi, my name is Tina and I have been practising yoga for nearly 20 years. I started attending a local yoga class which helped me to manage my back pain. I completed the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) foundation course and then teacher training, qualifying in February 2019. As part of my continued professional development, I have completed several courses, including yoga for stress & burnout, yoga for back pain (both YogaCampus), a specialist module in teaching yoga to people living with cancer (BWY 2021) and a hybrid module in restorative yoga and Nidra (Imagine Rest 2022).
I am a qualified nurse, so it is important to me that yoga is accessible to everyone and my classes are adapted to meet the needs of my students. My classes are gentle and taught in a traditional way, focusing on breath awareness to calm the mind and body which can reduce stress and aid relaxation.
In my spare time, I love spending time at home, I enjoy cooking and being out and about in nature, walking with my partner and our dog, Nelly.

Through my battle to manage fibromyalgia and cfs, I found the beautiful gongs, a space to just be, to feel held and supported, to find deep rest and receive their healing. Wellbeing is a messy, many layered path, unique to each of us and the gongs have been a constant on my journey, I experience them in so many ways and on so many levels.
I am blessed to hold space for others to experience the gongs as part of their journey and I enjoy collaborating with others as well. I first discovered the gongs around 2014, qualified as a practitioner in 2017 and started the Gong Space Lincolnshire.
The powerful and therapeutic gong space bathes you in waves of sound and vibration to promote healing, stress relief, meditative states and deep relaxation. Working on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level; sound healing promotes wellbeing and harmony for the whole self.

One of the reasons I took up Tai Chi was to help with the after effects of a motorcycle crash in my early 20’s which broke my pelvis in 3 places. Inevitably as I grew older arthritis started to develop in the damaged joints. Also I felt I needed to improve my general health, as I was not getting any younger and unable to use other forms of exercise, even walking could be a problem at times.
I persuaded my mother to come with me to the 1st class and we have both continued to practice Tai Chi since that day. For a year we went to class once a week, feeling the benefits we increased this to 2 classes a week. We both found our general health and stamina improved but I was feeling so much better that I could cut back on my painkillers.
I noticed a marked improvement in my posture alongside an increased ability to flex joints, including my fingers which were starting to deform through arthritis. With the improved posture and practice at Abdominal Breathing I found I could breathe more freely and my ability to relax improved.
This was when I decided I wanted to learn how to teach others the Tai Chi exercises. I wanted to help other people gain the same benefits that I had.
I received my qualification through the NOCN on 8th Nov 2011 and have been teaching ever since. After starting with 1 class a week, I am now teaching 6 classes and practising daily in between and find myself continuing to improve. It is also very informative and rewarding when members come to me in class and tell me about benefits they have noticed personally. Several have told me about lowered blood pressure or a lessening of pain. One gentleman even told me it improved his golf swing and has since gone on to practice Tai Chi daily at home, becoming one of my star pupils.
